Lawmakers Work to Make Lawsuits More Viable. February 28, 2016.

State Senator Kathy Marchione and Assemblyman John McDonald  introduced a bipartisan bill that would expand the three year statute of limitations on Superfund sites, which is currently in place. The current statute prevents suits from being filed more than three years after contamination. Currently there is no known date as to when the water contamination began. In addition to the bill, the new water filtration system has been introduced and officials have begun a neighborhood-by-neighborhood process of flushing the system.
